Third Time's A Charm

I've frogged my mom's Bejewelled shawl... again. But it will be the last time I take it apart because I have discovered that I can't knit without a pattern yet. So I found a nice lace shawl pattern and am now following every word of it. And it's working out fairly nicely. I'm impressed.

I've also decided that I need to get a knitting notebook. This shawl requires that I actually keep track of what I did in the last row and since I have a 3 second memory span, I'll need to write it down. So, I'm on the look out for a knitting notebook... maybe I'll hit up the dollar store!
