Help!

I think I may have learned how to knit again. After toiling away on and 20-stitch Matrix for the whole day, I've knit a whole foot! Yay! (I'm actually not sure whether I should be celebrating or crying. 20-stitches on US11 needles, for goodness sake! How long should it be taking?)

I've decided that I want to try a toe up sock for the Coral yarn I've picked up. Just a plain toe up so I can learn how to do those tricky short rows I keep hearing about. Anyone have any suggestions for a simple pattern I can follow? Send them my way, please!
