Squares, Anyone?

I just got back from school where a bunch of people from my program were knitting squares. Yes, that's right knitting squares. For what? A blanket.

As part of a charity project, we're all knitting 8 x 8 inch squares and donating them to some charity (I don't know who) to sew into a blanket. Can you imagine how excited I was when I heard about this?!

My program office was filled with wool and people knitting! Experts and beginners all crowded around a table piled with wool of all different colours! Everyone excited and chatting about knitting. My goodness... my dreams come true.
